Novak Djokovic, the Serbian tennis player has always been a part of different sports. Fans have seen the Serb play some football, golf, and even basketball. However, recently, the world number 1 made his mark in the field of cricket by reacting to Virat Kohli’s record-breaking century in the Semi-Finals of the Cricket World Cup.

The whole cricket fan base was awaiting the much-anticipated semi-final clash between New Zealand and India. During the match, India’s star player, Virat Kohli continued his form and reached his 50th hundred in the ODI World Cup. This magnificent century ensured that Kohli surpassed the legendary Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 49 centuries in ODI. The whole cricketing world was standing in ovation for the “King” and players from other sports also congratulated him.

Novak Djokovic posted a congratulatory message for Kohli on his Instagram. The world number 1 in tennis wrote:

The Serb has never shied away from expressing his regards to different players from different sports. Other than Novak, even the legendary footballer David Beckham was seen present in the stadium and expressed his gratitude to Kohli for achieving an amazing milestone.

Novak Djokovic has kept tabs on Virat Kohli and fans have noticed the Serb liking the gym posts of the King. Earlier this year, other cricketers like AB de Villiers and Dinesh Kartik have compared Kohli to Djokovic for their achievements and fitness.

India has entered the semi-finals of the World Cup and will look to change history by beating the Kiwis, whereas Novak will look to bounce back from a small setback against Jannik Sinner.
