Where rookie of the year contender LaMelo Ball scored a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds. The Hornets have now won 3 in their 4 games. While Timberwolves have lost their 20th game of the season.

Talking about the players of the home team in particular, Cody Zeller added 17 points on 7-of-8 shooting, Gordon Hayward had 14 points on 5-of-21 shooting, and Miles Bridges had 11 points and 10 rebounds. Charlotte improved to 13-14, opening a five-game homestand with its third victory in four games. Minnesota has lost four straights to fall to 6-20.

The Charlotte Hornets have been improving in each game in the 2020-21 season. It surely looks like the Michael Jordan owned franchise it living up to its hype. Having said that, the Hornets would host San Antonio Spurs in their next meeting. While the Minnesota Timberwolves, who desperately need to work upon their form, would face Toronto Raptors.
