The 21-year-old (b. April 5, 2003), Tetairoa McMillan is a 6 ft 5 in (1.96 m) wide receiver weighing 212 lbs. Born and raised in Waimānalo, Hawaii till the age of 12, McMillan is one of the prominent first-round projections entering the National Football League 2025 Draft.

The young player’s history with football starts with the Servite High School located in Anaheim, California. Tetairoa McMillan created headlines after he finished as a Gatorade Player of the Year finalist in his high school senior year with 88 receptions for 1,302 yards and 18 TDs. He also got selected for the All-American Bowl and was awarded the Polynesian High School Football Player of the Year in 2021.

Heading to his collegiate career, he initially signed with the Oregon Ducks before jumping ship to the Arizona Wildcats – becoming their highest-rated recruit at the time. McMillan made immediate attention with a splendid performance in debut game against San Diego State in his freshman.

In his short period at the University of Arizona, he managed to record the most yards (3243) in their program history while ranking top five in receptions and touchdowns. In 2024, he won the Polynesian College Football Player of the Year and came close to Travis Hunter for the Fred Biletnikoff Award.

The latest Mel Kiper Jr. report placed Tetairoa McMillan as a potential first-round pick at the NFL Draft. Kiper also postulates that McMillan will be drafted by the Los Angeles Chargers. However, it’s quite a drop from the CBS Sports early projections, which put him in third spot for the New England Patriots.
