Texas girl goes viral after team’s loss to Ohio State for valid reasons

The Texas Longhorns had a rough night in the Cotton Bowl as they wound up losing to Ohio State University 28-14. The night was filled with anticipation and hope for fans of Texas, but eventually, this turned into despair and mere frustration towards the end of the fourth quarter.
Even in the most grim of situations, there tends to be a silver lining. For Texas, the silver lining came in the form of a pretty face, a beautiful fan of the team with a nervous facial expression. ESPN’s camera crew captured the fan as they were going through the expressions on their face.
The camera crew received props from fans online as they have been on a Jayden Daniels-like run this college football season when it comes to capturing damsels in distress in the game’s final minutes. The case was no different yesterday either.

The Texas girl now joins the likes of the Tulane girl and JJ McCarthy’s girlfriend
It has become a go-to strategy for networks to utilize beauty in the crowds to get more views and keep the buzz around a game even after the match ends. It has happened in the past, during the bowl game last season, fans were treated to the Tulane girl, a fan present in the crowd during the team’s game against USC.
The girl was captured with under 38 seconds left in the game when Tulane had the ball and trailed 39-45 against USC. The stunning fan was captured biting her nail and became an instant heartthrob amongst fans. Her charm and prayers worked because Tulane went on to win 46-45.
Apart from the Texas girl, another pretty woman was spotted in the stands praying for the team with her hands clasped together. It is not just random fans that make the cut. WAG of players steal the show too. For instance, former Wolverines’ quarterback J.J. McCarthy’s girlfriend went viral after his team won the National Championship for her enthusiastic celebration.
