Thaddeus Moss, son of former wide receiver Randy Moss slammed Larry Fitzgerald Sr. for spreading false news about his dad’s newfound battle with an internal health issue. In a tweet that has since gained popularity, Larry Fitzgerald Sr. offered support to the veteran wideout while addressing that the former player has liver cancer.

On December 1, Randy Moss publicly disclosed that he was facing a medical condition, describing it as “battling something internal.” He informed his fans that he might need to wear sunglasses during his on-camera appearances for the foreseeable future. Subsequently, on December 6, ESPN announced that Moss would be taking a leave of absence from Sunday NFL Countdown to address “a personal health challenge.”

Although Randy Moss didn’t reveal what was troubling him, Larry Fitzgerald’s tweet created a media flurry of false news – that he has liver cancer. In the span of minutes, supports and wishes flooded the social media platforms. The whole of NFL including former player Brett Favre scooped up the senior Fitzgerald’s words without no second thought.

Thaddeus Moss, Randy’s son came out, ripping into Larry Fitzgerald Sr. for the relay of misinformation. Thaddeus maintained that Fitzgerald and his dad don’t maintain any regular communication channel. He also expressed that Fitzgerald should verify his sources beforehand.

This is disgusting. You have no right to try to make private matters public for the sake of engagement. I do not believe my father talks to you, so check your f—ing sources.

Randy Moss put out a message in regards to something he has going on. I just want to, on behalf of the whole Vikings organization, send out our well wishes and support.
