Novak Djokovic posted a heartfelt message for all supporters of Novak Djokovic Foundation

Novak Djokovic posted a hearfelt message on Facebook for all the supporters, and donors who have helped the Novak Djokovic Foundation during the tough times this year. The Serbian tennis star stated that him alongside his wife, Jelena Djokovic are committed to the social good of their home country. Founded in November 2007, the Novak Djokovic Foundation seeks to develop early childhood projects, and provides educational grants to children.

Its been a hard year for so many families and I wanted to share my gratitude with Jelena Djokovic, Maja Kremic, everyone at the Novak Djokovic foundation, and our donors and partners. This team has improved living conditions of thousands of children, parents, teachers, and impoverished communities in Serbia from e-learning to school building to Covid supplies and even mental health seminars. So much impactful work,” the opening part of the message read.

On the occasion of World Children’s Day, the Serbian tennis star, said that he alongside his team, believed that they could make a difference in improving the life of the children. “Myself and Jelena are committed to the social good of our country, especially through children’s early childhood education. I play a small role compared to what the team achieves on the ground so thank you all for your dedication and commitment to believing we can make a difference,wrote Djokovic.

The Serbian tennis star has already contributed upto $1.165 million until May, towards child education in these unprecedented times. Meanwhile, Novak Djokovic defeated the German, Alexander Zverev in straight sets at the Nitto ATP Finals, to qualify for the semifinals where he will face Dominic Thiem on Saturday.
