Amidst the ginormous glory, Federer is one who has never lost touch with his roots. He remains an active participant of the society and constantly contributes to make the world a better place. Moreover, in a recent Mercedes Benz commercial, the tennis ace reaffirmed that he always takes time out for what matters the most to him, that is, his fans.

Whilst the Swiss spent the past season on the sidelines due to a knee-surgery that he underwent, Federer did not lose touch with his fans. This utter passion for the sport and the people who support him has earned Roger his 18th consecutive Fans’ Favourite Player of the Year award.
In response to this, the tennis champ rendered a heart-warming message for his fans around the world through the ATP Tour on Twitter.
“Hey, it’s Roger here. I hope everybody is doing well in a difficult year. I just wanted to thank you all for winning the Fans’ Favourite Award this year again. Thanks to ATP, to all the tennis fans out there voting for me, believing in me, and wanting to see me back on the tour,” Federer stated.
He added, “I’m training hard, making that possible. And I hope I can play in front of all you guys very very soon. Happy Holidays to everybody. Happy New Year. Let’s hope it all gets better next year. I can’t wait to see you all again very soon. So take care, and again, thank you, thank you, so so much, I’ll see you soon.”
Federer is en route to make his much-awaited comeback at the Australian Open 2021.
