The Bella Twins spotted with Britt Baker (via WWE and AEW)
Although WWE and AEW are always at each other’s throats for a greater market share, the wrestlers working in these respective companies are still good friends. Fans have even seen examples of some wrestling couples where the husband and wife work in different companies. However, seeing Britt Baker alongside The Bella Twins was not on people’s 2025 Bingo Card.
Britt Baker shared a photo on her Instagram from the Madden Bowl on February 9th. The picture features the former AEW Women’s Champion standing alongside The Bella Twins. This post also added fire to a lot of rumors, and fans speculated that they might soon see the dentist in a WWE ring.
Baker was on hiatus from AEW for over a year. She returned around mid-2024 and had a match against Mercedes Mone at All In. However, she disappeared from TV once again shortly after. Allegedly, many officials and even the CEO herself were growing tired of her backstage influence.

There were rumors that she was going to get involved in a program with Serena Deeb. However, nothing has materialized so far, and it is now said that the company no longer has any creative plans for her. On the other hand, WWE has proclaimed that they would be more than happy to sign Baker on. Thus, her shifting to the Stamford-based promotion seems inevitable after her current contract expires.
Are the Bella Twins returning to WWE?
Nikki Bella shocked the wrestling world by making her return during the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble match, entering at #30. Although she only spent 3 minutes in the ring, she was able to get the elimination of Bayley.
It appears that Nikki Bella might be looking at a more permanent return to the company soon. After she got eliminated herself, she slapped Bayley near the ringside area. She also teased a feud with the Role Model. Furthermore, she mentioned many names with whom she had unfinished business or wanted to work with for the first time. All these hints combined point toward the Hall of Famer coming back once again.
Now, the Bella Twins have always been a two-person act. They have spent most of their career together and were inducted into the Hall of Fame as one unit as well. Thus, if Nikki does come back in a more permanent role, Brie may not be too far away either.
