‘The Borz’ Khamzat Chimaev has been brutal to the opponents inside the ring, in his first UFC appearance he made John Phillips submit via D’Arce choke. After that, he registered two TKO wins and his win against Gerald Meerschaert came within just 17 seconds of the first round.
Apart from being brutal inside the ring, he is brutal outside the ring too with his training partner. Darren Stewart, the middleweight UFC fighter trains with Khamzat Chimaev and recently he shared a brutal training experience with Khamzat that sent him to the dentist.
In his recent interview with AbzTalks, Stewart says, “The guy took the filling out of my tooth, just by cranking my neck. He’s so strong bruv… I was grappling with him and my ear ripped. Then he had to put tape around my head… He doesn’t look it, yeah, but he’s a beast”.
Ali Abdelaziz also shared his concern about Khamzat’s gym partners
This isn’t the first time ‘The Borz’s’ gym partners have been injured during the practice. In one of his interviews when Ali Abdelaziz was asked about Khamzat’s training, he says, “This guy should be arrested for what he is doing to other people in the gym”.
According to the latest news, the fight between Khamzat Chimaev and Leon Edwards has been scrapped again from UFC Fight Night at Fight Island, the reason for this is still unknown and UFC still has to make the official announcement.
It is also uncertain that this fight is going to be booked for the third time or not. But if this is officially canceled ‘The Borz’ will be finding a new opponent for himself again.
