The Hardys are one of the most iconic tag teams in all of professional wrestling. They got their big break in WWE and are considered pioneers of modern tag team wrestling. Both Matt and Jeff Hardy also went on to find a lot of singles success in the company, with the latter even becoming a WWE Champion. After spending nearly four years away from the company, the two superstars are ready to make their way back to the Stamford-based promotion.

During the latest episode of NXT, the No Quarter Catch Crew called out the Hardy Boyz. They called them the best tag team in the world before laying out a challenge for next week on NXT in Cincinnati. Matt Hardy replied to this challenge on his X account with a video alongside his brother.

Matt Hardy said that he was not expecting to hear his name when tuning into NXT programming. Furthermore, he referred the challenge to his brother and asked him what to do next. Jeff Hardy said that they should accept the challenge without any hesitation. Even in 2025, the Hardy Boyz were still innovating and inspiring others. Lastly, he even took a shot at Fraxiom.

They invited Fraxiom to pull up a front-row seat to their match next Tuesday and watch them beat the No Quarter Catch Crew. He claimed that after a Twist of Fate and a Senton, the rising superstars would realize who the greatest tag team of all time really was.

Nathan Frazier teases a match with The Hardy Boyz

WWE and TNA recently signed a deal that allows superstars from both brands to make appearances on shows hosted by the opposing promotion. The Hardy Boyz will use this partnership to their advantage and appear on NXT next week. However, since this deal was signed, both promotions have teased an upcoming clash of generations.

At TNA Genesis, Matt and Jeff Hardy were set to defend their TNA World Tag Team Championship against the Rascalz. Before the match began, Fraxiom made a surprise entrance and grabbed ringside seats to watch the action live. They even got involved in the action and had to be escorted out by security.

After this show, Nathan Frazer posted a photo alongside the TNA World Tag Team Champions. After The Hardy Boyz announced their arrival in NXT last week, the 26-year-old once again teased having a match against the legendary tag team. It is clear that both promotions plan to pit these two teams against each other in the near future. This could be a potential marquee matchup for NXT: Stand & Deliver.
