“The “King” loses to the Kings” Skip Bayless RIPS Lebron James yet again after the Lakers’ 4th-quarter fall against Sacramento Kings
Lebron James and the Lakers lost their 25th game of the season. Skips Bayless ripped the Lakers star for not being aggressive in the 4th quarter.

LeBron James and Skip Bayless
Skip Bayless is perhaps the harshest critic of LeBron James since the King from Ohio set foot on the court. The NBA analyst has many problems with Los Angeles Lakers superstar. He is critical of his free throws, his jump shots, his three-point shots, and his late-game decision. However, what he has been consistent with his criticism and his denial of James’ GOAT status is his ‘clutch gene.’ However diverse opinions might be, Skip would never agree to him having one.
Reacting to the Lakers’ loss, Skip took to Twitter to criticize James. He wrote, “LeBron James: no closer gene. The “King” loses to the Kings without Sabonis … because he AGAIN failed to close a game begging to be won by him,” Skip wrote. James the Lakers lost the 25th game of the season to the Kings in their 4th meeting of the season. Despite his series of heroic performances, LeBron can’t lift his team up against each of their good opponents. He is 38 and playing back-to-back games can take a toll on his body.
LeBron scored game-high 32 points for the Lakers but most of the players on the roster remained inefficient from the field. He himself was under 50 percent from the field and shot under 30 percent from the three-point line. The 4 x NBA Champion poured 27 points in the first three quarters of the game. He changed his game in the fourth quarter and went into playmaker mode and contributed only 5 points. Despite all the Kings‘ defense concentrated on him, the Lakers couldn’t capitalize on open shots.

LeBron James says the Lakers have zero room for error after their 25th loss of the season

It was their 4th loss in 5 games and 3rd loss in the game with 10 or more points. After the game, LeBron said that his team wants to play like they had played in the last few games when they had a 5-game winning streak. “We’re definitely a ballclub that has zero room for error. We have to continue to play how we played the last couple of games and trying to play mistake-free basketball,” James said.
Lakers head coach Darvin Ham also added that his team lost the game because of late-game fouling and bad decision-making. “Late in the game our fouling, not being disciplined, showing our hands all the way throughout the possession was pretty tough as well,” Ham said. “We got up against the clock, a too much indecisiveness in terms of shooting it, passing it or driving.” With over 8 minutes left on the clock, the Lakers had committed 4 fouls.
