CM Punk is one of the most controversial superstars in the wrestling world. Rumors of him being difficult to work with have followed him throughout his career. Years ago, Punk had beef with The Miz, but when they met again, they buried the hatchet. Recently, The A-Lister talked about his relationship with The Second City Saint.
While speaking with Adrian Hernandez, The Miz spilled the beans about how the meeting between him and CM Punk went backstage last year. He stated that when The Best in the World paid a visit to Raw in Chicago, the former I.C. Champion was shocked to see him. After chatting for some time, Miz revealed that they buried the hatch. They had a brief altercation in 2020 on social media when the Hollywood star had a few words for him.

Ever since his return, Punk has been on his best behavior, giving advice to the young stars. However, his arch-enemy Drew McIntyre would certainly disagree, as Punk thwarted his chances of winning the world title. At Money in the Bank, The Scottish Warrior was so close to winning the title, but The Second City Saint’s interference ruined it all for him.
Yeah, it was in Chicago, and I was just walking down the stairs, and he was standing there. Remember, he left a long time ago and has never been back. So we ended up having a really good conversation, and it was one of those moments where we kind of just buried the hatchet, I guess you could say.The Miz on CM Punk (via Unlikely with Adrian Hernandez)
Meanwhile, Miz won the World Tag Team title at WrestleMania XL with R-Truth. Unfortunately for them, The Judgment Day defeated them to become the new champs a few weeks ago on Raw. Fans speculate that the 43-year-old legend may turn heel on his partner soon.
WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray wanted to see CM Punk feud with Seth Rollins instead of Drew McIntyre
The feud between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre is one of the best things going on in WWE right now. Even though they have yet to square off in the ring, the intense segments between them have really captivated the audience. However, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray wants to see The Best in the World feud with Seth Rollins instead of McIntyre.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray expressed his hope to see the feud between Punk and Rollins take center stage. He also envisioned a compelling storyline involving their rivalry further ahead. The Hall of Famer stated that Gunther should win the world title from Damian Priest at SummerSlam, and the No. 1 contender for the title should be determined by their rivalry.
There's money to be made in this quote-unquote 'blood feud. And then, coming out of that, I believe you'll want to see Punk challenge GUNTHER.Bully Ray via Busted Open Radio
The fresh feud between Punk and Gunther for the world title is indeed compelling and will be loved by fans. However, with his ongoing rivalry with the veteran, McIntyre is still in the title picture. Nonetheless, the upcoming SummerSlam PLE in Ohio on August 3 will answer all questions.
