A report on WrestlingInc confirmed that The Rascalz are expected to sign a contract with WWE. The trio of Dezmond Xavier, Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz are collectively known as The Rascalz. They were a part of the Impact Wrestling roster, but will be leaving the promotion in less than week.

Impact Wrestling had written a storyline that justified The Rascalz absence from their upcoming shows. It has been shown that the trio have not been able to pay the rent to The Treehouse, since the last two years. Their eviction from the The Treehouse, would be synonymous to their exit from the promotion. The angle is booked to make their exit look legitimate.

The report mentions that just the formality of signing the contract is left. Soon The Rascalz will be with WWE. The trio is likely to join the Gold and black brand. Triple H, who manages the NXT brand is on a constant lookout for new talent.

WWE is currently on a hiring spree to make their roster stronger and stronger. Once a wrestler impresses the WWE Universe on this brand, WWE moves them to the main brands- Raw and Smackdown. The likes of Keith Lee and Riddle recently progressed to the main roster.

It will be interesting to see how WWE utilizes the trio. Will they still be a trio or will be given a singles run? As Raw struggles to revive their TV ratings, the blue and the gold-and-black brand are consistently going from strengths and strengths.
