The newest call of duty game, Black Ops Cold War is out now and allows players to pop heads with a whole arsenal of firearms. The most favoured offerings are usually assault rifles and SMGs. The game gives you a huge array of weapons to choose from so here is a list of the top 5 guns in COD Black Ops Cold War.

AK-47

The AK-47 is an iconic assault rilfe. It is snappy and easy to use. The gun has a fairly short time to kill and is ideal for mid range combat. Though it suffers from having low bullet velocity, the damage makes up for it provided you hit your shots. The focus should be add attachments that increase bullet velocity. The gun is accurate enough with Iron Sights and does not require that you use a scope.

The AK-74u lacks in mobility, with relatively high Sprint Down and Aim Down Sights speeds. You should focus on attachments to make the gun snappier and quicker to use, which will make this a very lethal SMG.

The MP5 is a gun that has always been a good choice in COD. The MP5 has a decent range and low recoil. What makes the gun a killer is the high fire rate for an SMG. The fire rate coupled with the low recoil and decent accuracy means that the gun is easy to use and master. Attachments to make the gun quicker to reload and aim will only improve it’s effectiveness.

The Krig-6 is an offering similar to the AK-47. It is a full auto assault rifle that is deadly at close range and accurate at long range. It’s bullet damage is only second to the AK-47. The gun’s recoil is easy to control and the time to kill is ideal. It has a fast reload time and is essentially a complete package that can be personalised with attachments.
