Since Cody Rhodes became the Undisputed Champion at WrestleMania XL, he has truly established himself as a top babyface. He loves the fans, and the feeling is mutual from their side as well. However, a certain WWE Hall of Famer believed that he could be more successful as a heel than as a babyface. The individual in question is none other than The Undertaker, who expressed his genuine opinion about The American Nightmare in an interview.

While talking with Chris Van Vliet on The Insight, The Undertaker admitted that Cody Rhodes was doing an excellent job as a babyface. However, he also stated that The American Nightmare could really pull off the bad guy character further down the line. The Deadman added that he envisioned him embodying something evil that represents a true heel.

If Rhodes decides to become a heel again, it wouldn’t be his first time assuming that role. During his first run with the company, he was a bad guy for the majority of it. The former AEW star partnered with Randy Orton in Legacy, becoming ‘Dashing’ Cody Rhodes, and then finally adopting the Stardust persona.

He’s doing a phenomenal job, and again, I think he’s gonna have a tremendous run as a baby face. But, I think his bigger run will be as a heel. There’s just something about Cody with me that I envision a heel. It’s down the road because right now, he’s killing it as a baby face.

There is no doubt that he is currently the top babyface in the company. Recently, he successfully defended his Undisputed WWE Title against AJ Styles in an “I Quit” match at Clash at the Castle. However, as he was celebrating with fans, Solo Sikoa, along with Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, attacked him, signaling that Solo might be his next opponent.

Cody Rhodes shared a candid picture with other champions while on tour to Scotland

All the superstars traveled to Scotland to perform at Clash at the Castle PLE. Cody Rhodes took some time to take a picture with other champions and shared it on social media. He retained his title in another classic match against the Phenomenal One.

The American Nightmare took to X and shared a picture of himself drinking with Bayley and Damian Priest. For many fans, seeing Rhodes and Priest together was quite amazing, given the storied rivalry between them and Judgment Day. Despite being in enemy territory, The Role Model defeated Scotland’s own Piper Niven and retained her WWE Women’s Title.

Meanwhile, El Campeón wrestled Drew McIntyre in his home country and defended his title in a singles match. Although the match was hanging in the balance, a brilliant interference from The Scottish Warrior’s archenemy, CM Punk, changed everything. Taking advantage of the feud between them, The Archer of Infamy retained his title with the South of Heaven.
