Since his debut, Gunther has made a strong impact in WWE, winning multiple championships and breaking records. However, what fans admire most about him is his old-school wrestling style and dedication to the sport. He focuses on being the best every day rather than simply entertaining the audience. One of his biggest fans is The Undertaker, who has consistently praised him throughout his time on the main roster.
Recently, The Ring General appeared on the reality TV series Legends & Future Greats to meet young contestants. The show features legends like The Undertaker, Mickie James, Bully Ray, and Booker T. During Gunther’s introduction, The Deadman called him “his guy” and said he fully supported him. He also praised the World Heavyweight Champion’s passion for the business, saying it was evident in everything he did.
In the series, rising stars compete for a contract, with legends guiding them along the way. Many WWE fans have compared it to Tough Enough, where wrestlers like The Miz once competed. Gunther visited the contestants and delivered some tough words to prepare them for future challenges.
Gunther is… first off, that’s my guy, I claim him. That’s my guy. He loves the business, and it shows everything he does.

Since his main roster debut, Gunther has spent most of his career as a champion. Now at his peak as World Heavyweight Champion, he is set to defend his title against Jey Uso at WrestleMania. Only time will tell if The Ring General continues his dominant reign.
What Gunther did in his appearance on WWE LFG
During Gunther’s appearance on LFG, he spoke to a group of wrestling rookies. He told them they were only pursuing wrestling because they had failed in their original passions. The record-breaking Intercontinental Champion emphasized that true success in wrestling comes from dedication, not just a desire for fame.

He also had an intense exchange with 20-year-old Zena Sterling. When she said she wanted to do her best and entertain audiences through storytelling, Gunther remained unimpressed. The World Heavyweight Champion told her that nobody wanted to see a “Barbie” and urged her to find some grit within herself.
If you just do it for, just wanted to be a superstar, you’re not gonna make it if that’s your primary goal. It’s like you got to do it because you love to do it.

Gunther also confronted Tyra Mae Steele, an Olympic gold medalist in wrestling. He first congratulated her on her achievement but then mocked her, saying the gold medal wasn’t enough to bring her fame and money, which led her to try WWE. The 37-year-old later advised her to focus on her skills, as he saw great potential in her.
Gunther will wrestle Jimmy Uso on the upcoming episode of Raw
Gunther and Jey Uso’s rivalry has been intensifying week after week. Now, Jey’s brother, Jimmy Uso, has also joined the mix, standing by his side and constantly pushing him to be at his best against the World Heavyweight Champion. In a backstage segment, one-half of one of WWE’s greatest tag teams challenged the 37-year-old wrestler to a match on the upcoming episode of Raw in London.

When Gunther mocked Jey for slipping during their tussle, Jimmy didn’t hold back and slapped him hard, escalating the tension between them. Gunther simply smiled but had already decided to make Jey’s brother pay for it.

Before the 2025 Royal Rumble, few expected Jey to win, given the number of megastars in the match. While Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and CM Punk eliminated each other, The Yeet Master eliminated John Cena to secure victory. Now, it remains to be seen if the 39-year-old can overcome the odds and dethrone the champion at the biggest stage of them all.
