The Undertaker‘s ‘Six Feet Under with Mark Calaway’ podcast is infamous for hosting several wrestling legends on the show. These episodes usually involve these superstars sharing insightful and sometimes hilarious backstage details of their WWE journey. Mark Henry recently appeared on the show and shared a hilarious backstage story with Shawn Michaels.
Mark Henry talked about a prank played on him by fellow WWE superstars a few years ago. At that point, The World’s Strongest Man was injured and needed crutches to walk. However, somebody had hidden his crutches, rendering the superstar unable to walk around. The 52-year-old revealed that he was made fun of by Shawn Michaels and the rest of the Kliq, a backstage group also comprising Scott Haul, Kevin Nash, and Sean Walkman.
The group walked up to Henry and made fun of him for somebody hiding his crutches. This interaction severely pissed off The Silverback. He claimed that they were “too small” to be poking fun at him.
This interaction also made the former World Champion believe that it was the Kliq who hid his crutches. He revealed that he threatened to kill them and that he meant it.
I got in trouble and they sent me to Canada because I threatened to kill Shawn Michaels and the entire Kliq. I thought that.... Oh, I meant that sh*t.Mark Henry
This got Henry in quite a bit of trouble, and the company sent him to Canada. The wrestling veteran later found out that it was The Undertaker’s former manager, Paul Bearer, who had played the prank on the powerlifter. While the AEW Star was narrating this story, The Undertaker can be seen absolutely losing it. He was left in splits, listening to stories of his former colleagues and the hilarious pranks played by them. After all, Henry has had several pranks played on him during his wrestling career.
What is the latest update on Mark Henry’s AEW Contract?
The wrestling world was shocked when Mark Henry parted ways with the WWE, a company he had spent 25 years of his life with. In 2021, he joined AEW, also appearing at the Double or Nothing Pay-Per-View. Despite not having a match in the Jacksonville-based promotion, he continues to work as an interviewer and onscreen personality.
According to a report by Fightful, the former World Heavyweight Champion’s contract with AEW ends this month. Henry signed a multi-year contract with the company ahead of his Rampage debut in August 2021. There has been no word of the two parties agreeing on a renewal as of yet.
The outlet also reported that Henry teased an in-ring return for one final match. However, the superstar does not know what it would take for him to make it happen. Henry himself has not made any comment regarding his contract situation, and it is unclear if he will stick with AEW going forward.
