The Undertaker wrestled arguably the most prominent match of his career at WrestleMania 30 when his undefeated streak came to an end at the hands of Brock Lesnar. Apart from the fact that this match was a dud, the worst part is that the 59-year-old can’t even remember much about this bout due to concussion. Now, during the Mr. McMahon docuseries, Vince McMahon downplayed this claim of a concussion.
Vince McMahon said that it was not clear to him that the Deadman suffered a concussion. Instead, he believed that the Phenom was experiencing psychological shock and trauma after finding out that his streak was coming to an end. Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Taker’s wife, Michelle McCool, was understandably offended by these claims.
She recalled having a horrible night back then, and it hurt when someone dismissed the truth about what truly happened. Michelle McCool mentioned that there had been multiple instances where her husband wrestled during times of injury. He had finished matches even with concussions or fractured eye sockets. He is also not one to talk about these things.
So to see it, if anybody says or takes it for anything less than what it was, that’s hard. That hurts.

The former Women‘s Champion also narrated the story of her spending the night in the hospital after her husband’s match at WrestleMania 30. By this point, The Undertaker had been having surgery every year and rehabbing so he could make it back in time for Mania.
That night in the hospital, the couple found out that the wrestling veteran’s back had been broken for years. Furthermore, she revealed how the Demon from Death Valley couldn’t even remember his own name until 4 am.
The Undertaker recalls his first meeting with Ricky Starks ahead of the latter’s NXT debut
Ricky Starks shocked the entire wrestling world when he made an appearance on the latest episode of NXT, not even days after his release from AEW. The Undertaker was watching this episode of NXT on Busted Open After Dark and revealed how he met the rising superstar for the first time.

The former WWE Champion revealed an anecdote from when he was training for his WrestleMania 32 match against Shane McMahon. He used to go training at a gym and noticed Ricky Starks there every single day. He never said anything, but was always available as a spotter or to help.
Every single time they talked to each other, they had great conversations with each other. Taker thought that he was a respectful kid, and his arrival in NXT had totally caught him off guard. In fact, the Absolute One had even trained Michelle McCool for her Royal Rumble appearance.
