After his win, Khabib announced that he can’t enter the Octagon without this father anymore and ended his carrier with an unbelievable record of 29-0.

Khabib has received well wishes from many sports stars around the world whether it is football sensation Cristiano Ronaldo or UFC’s G.O.A.T George St-Pierre all of them send best wishes for Khabib. Following Khabib’s retirement the lightweight title is on the line again as no one could take it from him but now without him, there is a chance for everyone.

The list of contenders includes players like Conor McGregor, Tony Ferguson, Dustin Poirier, Justin Gaethje, and the new addition to UFC lightweight Michael Chandler. McGregor and Poirier are going to face each other in January and Ferguson badly wants to step in the Octagon once again. As the talks begin about putting an option to fill in Khabib’s shoes for the UFC Lightweight title is getting more and more. Ali Abdelaziz tries to slow it down with his tweet saying, “There’s no vacant title here”. It is clear that Ali wants to say that Khabib is still the Lightweight champion.

Like the other UFC fighters, Khabib doesn’t vacate his title in the ring, he walks away with it which shows that the champ has an emotional attachment with this title and he wants to show the world that it will always belong to him.
