“They have the best No. 6 and No. 7” – Brad Hogg identifies ‘advantage India have over all the other teams’ going into T20 World Cup 2021

Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya

India are on a nine-match winning streak in T20Is. And will be looking to make it 10 wins in as many games going into the second encounter against Australia in Sydney. Although the side has lost all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who was in red hot form. The Virat Kohli led side still has the firepower to clinch the series as the hosts come into the encounter with their own set of troubles.
Brad Hogg revealed the secret behind the immense success the Men in Blue have enjoyed in the shortest format lately. The former Aussie spinner hails the all-rounder duo of Hardik Pandya and Jadeja for India’s balanced performance. Hogg even went on to label them as the best number 6 and 7 batsmen going around right now.
India are the better T20 team in the series

The former left-arm legspinner went to claim that Pandya and Jadeja give their side an edge for the upcoming T20 World Cup. As he went on to suggest that India shouldn’t tinker with their batting order going forward. India will be hosting the T20 World Cup next year.
“If you are going to win the T20 World Cup, your No. 6 and No. 7 batsmen are the most vital cogs in your batting line-up. Because they are the ones that are going to finish off an innings as Jadeja and Pandya do quite often.“
“That is the advantage India have over all the other teams. They have the best No. 6 and No. 7 in T20 cricket. So, India should not change their batting line-up,” Hogg stated on his YouTube channel.
Hogg feels that India is an all-round side and are favourites of clinching the three-match series. He admits that the Aussies have an edge in the bowling department. But quickly adds that their Indian counterparts are not much behind. Australia lost Mitchell Starc coming into the game. And they don’t have many options to fill the void the seasoned speedster leaves behind.
“India last night were too good for Australia, they are the better T20 team. They have got a wonderful outfit. They have got batting depth as well as quality bowlers. If Australia have got an advantage it is in the bowling department, but India across the board are sensational,” he concluded.
