The ‘Greek Freak’, Giannis Antetokounmpo makes an indirect comment on Lebron James after signing the massive contract extension with the Milwaukee Bucks. The biggest question of this off-season has been whether or not Giannis would stay with the Bucks or move to a champion contender team. After another disappointing exit from the playoffs in the last season, Giannis surely looked devastated.

He clearly stated that his aim is to win the NBA ring than the MVP if given a chance. He has also always stated that his love for the franchise and the particular city has been way beyond asking for a trade in tough times. Shortly after signing the 5-year $228 Million extension, Giannis was involved in a press conference where he spoke about fanatics burning jerseys taking a subtle dig at Lebron.

However, one would suggest Giannis has a lot of praise for Lebron and both have shown their brotherhood time and again. He also never mentioned Lebron’s name in particular. But to everyone’s knowledge when King James moved to the Miami Heat, he was put under a lot of scrutiny for leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers.

When the off-season started, the Bucks had already started making moves. They had first traded to bring in Jrue Holiday and had also signed Bogdan Bogdanovic. Unfortunately, the Bogdanovic sign-in trade by NBA authorities. Given the respective reason, which led him to a 4-year contract to Atlanta Hawks.

Lastly, the Greak freak made a statement as he signed the massive 5-year contract worth $228 million. This now gives the Bucks a championship window with a star entering his prime.
