“This will be a violent fight” – Tim Means warns Mike Perry ahead of their bout at UFC 255 this weekend

Tim Means made his UFC debut way back in February 2012. The veteran American has already had two fights this year, winning one and losing the other. He faces ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry this weekend at UFC 255, in a highly anticipated welterweight duel. Given that both the fighters are very tough, it wouldn’t be a surprise if it turns out to be the fight of the night.
Speaking ahead of his fight, Tim Means, had few words of respect for Mike Perry, who he felt is a man who always stands in the middle and fights. But, Means also warned that the fight would be a violent one.
“Exciting fighter! A guy that comes, gets in your face, tries to hurt you” – Tim Means on Mike Perry
Speaking to MMA Junkie, Tim Means was quoted as saying, when asked what he felt about Mike Perry as an opponent, “I respect the originality of the guy. Exciting fighter! A guy that comes, gets in your face, tries to hurt you, so he’s not a that you have to go look for. He’s going to meet me in the middle of the octagon and we’re going to figure out who the better fighter is and who the bigger dog is…. with that being said, we are talking about violence earlier and this will be a violent fight. So I’m excited for that.”
Tim said it was a Yes, right away when he was offered to fight Mike Perry. Speaking of this Tim said, “Yeah! It was a yes right away. We had a couple other fight offers on the table….He is a guy that truly likes to fight and get in there and come after you. So yeah, it was no-brainer, it was a yes on our end right out the gate.”
This is going to be a cracker of a contest. Fingers Crossed!
