Manchester United’s woes keep on rising as they fail to navigate the crosscurrents of the Premier League. They haven’t scored in their last three league matches, which is a new low for the Red Devils. They drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace, lost 3-0 to Tottenham Hotspur, and drew 0-0 with Aston Villa.

With the growing list of concerns, Manchester United’s manager Erik ten Hag has been at the receiving end of some serious flak. Rumors have it that he might just face the axe and Thomas Tuchel is one name that has been cited as his replacement.

The German has seen the Premier League up close during his tenure at Chelsea. Apart from his stints with the London giants, he has also been a part of Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich.

As per a Sky Sports report, no official confirmation has been made that Tuchel is being at by Man Utd management. However, rumors suggest that Ten Hag is living on borrowed time at Old Trafford Manchester United have made an extremely sloppy start to the new Premier League season. They languish in the 15th position with just two wins from seven games.

That said, Erik ten Hag is under the impression that a joint decision has been made by the board to support him. He claimed that he still has the board’s backing and is working hard to get the team back to the winning ways.

Last season, when Man Utd faced Tuchel’s Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League, he stated that the Red Devils’ manager can never be relaxed. He lauded the atmosphere at Old Trafford and also expressed his gratitude to be at the Theatre of Dreams from the sideline.

However, what his current stance about Old Trafford is remains unknown. As sources say, if Erik ten Hag is unable to get Manchester United back on track, he is simply delaying the inevitable. The Dutchman has continued to urge patience from the fans. However, the lack of results, both in the Premier League and the Europa League, has only increased the calls for his sacking.
