Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford could be on his way out of the club next year after going out of favor under new manager Ruben Amorim. The 27-year-old forward most recently admitted that he is ready to take up a new challenge, as well as climb new steps in his football career.

After having made it through the Manchester United academy ranks, Marcus Rashford burst onto the scene in 2016. He quickly took the Premier League by storm in his very first season, scoring eight goals and providing two assists in 18 matches. He has since then had a fair share of highs and lows, and the last couple of seasons have been difficult for him. Questions have also been raised on his attitude and behavior with the team.

After being left out of United’s squad for their match against Man City, it is quite evident that he remains unwanted at the club. He has lost his place to youngster Amad Diallo. With the 27-year-old being the highest-paid player at Man Utd, it might be difficult for the club to offload him. With three years left in his contract, United might have to lower their asking price fee for the player. Let’s take a look at three possible destinations for the Englishman.

Arsenal

Mikel Arteta has had his eyes on Marcus Rashford over the past few seasons. The Gunners, who have turned title challengers over the last three seasons, are in need of a promising left-winger. Gabriel Martinelli has been struggling recently, and the club might look towards Rashford as an upgrade over the Brazilian talent.

For Rashford, it also means an opportunity to remain in the English top flight and prove his doubters wrong. Arsenal have shown, in recent years, their ability to poach star players from rival clubs in the Premier League. Moreover, Rashford could also be a center-forward option for Arteta, who is aiming to sign Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic during the next transfer window.

PSG

Another team that has shown interest in signing Marcus Rashford is Paris Saint-Germain. The French giants were close to securing a deal for the 27-year-old this summer, but the transfer failed to materialize. He could be a brilliant option for Luis Enrique’s side, who are still struggling with the exit of Kylian Mbappe, Neymar Jr., and Lionel Messi

Rashford could be on his way to Paris and might be paired alongside some of the club’s best talents, including Bradley Barcola, Goncalo Ramos, and Randal Kolo Muani. However, Manchester United might have to lower their £40 million asking price to sell him to PSG. The club is not planning on a move for the forward, keeping them out of the race at the moment.

Al-Hilal

Al-Hilal or other Saudi PL clubs are the only ones who can afford Marcus Rashford’s current wage demands. The middle-eastern nation has emerged as a lucrative destination for players all around the world for the past few years. However, playing in the Saudi PL could definitely harm Rashford’s chances of being selected for England at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Al-Hilal is currently placed second in the Saudi PL table and might sign the 27-year-old forward to add attacking reinforcements. They might also do so to replace Neymar Jr., who has been linked with a move out of the club. Apart from Al-Hilal, two other Saudi PL sides, Al-Ittihad and Al-Qadisiya, are also keeping close tabs on Rashford.
