In Short
  • Logan Paul challenges NFL players, specifically Myles Garrett, to a fight for $1 million.
  • Tom Brady mocks Paul, calling him a "b****" and dismissing wrestling as "cute."
  • The rivalry intensifies ahead of the Fanatics Flag Football Classic in Saudi Arabia on March 21.

Logan Paul is keeping the controversy he sparked earlier this year alive. Chatting with Patriots legend Tom Brady, the WWE star claimed that NFL players just don’t measure up to wrestlers. That single statement sparked a heated back-and-forth exchange between athletes on both sides.

Recently, the influencer-turned-wrestler repeated his remarks on the Impaulsive podcast. Paul claimed that he could beat any NFL player in a wrestling match, whether it’s Brady or retired tight end Rob Gronkowski. Paul has identified a specific target and formally issued a challenge to Myles Garrett. He quipped:

Not a single football player could beat me in a boxing match. I would throttle Myles Garrett.

That’s bold for Paul to challenge a 6-foot-4, 272-pound unit. Aside from a few road rage incidents, Garrett prefers to lead a quiet life when he is not racking up sacks on the gridiron. More importantly, the Cleveland Browns’ star pass rusher is busy romancing Olympic champion snowboarder Chloe Kim.

It is unlikely that Garrett ever responds to Paul’s summons. The Browns would not want that either. Then again, it is the offseason, and fans are always itching to see a good fight. Paul issued the challenge right after Brady posted a video on his Instagram account. Through the short clip, Brady mocked Paul by shouting curse words.

Logan Paul is a b****. Just say he’s a b****. Come play with the big boys. You’re lucky you won’t get hit.

The rivalry is heating up just weeks before both men are set to take the field for the Fanatics Flag Football Classic in Saudi Arabia on March 21. The seven-time Super Bowl champion is set to captain a team called the ‘Founders’ and has warned that anyone on his squad better be ‘locked in’ and ready to ‘dominate.’

Why are Tom Brady and Logan Paul beefing?

The bickering began when Brady paid Paul a visit on his podcast last month. During the appearance, Brady described wrestling as a “cute” profession.

Brady said:

I love WWE, it’s very cute, but this is real football, real competition.

This tournament will work as a precursor to the LA28 Olympics, where football’s distant cousin will be included for the first time. NFL stars like Saquon Barkley, Christian McCaffrey, and CeeDee Lamb are set to feature in the event.

However, due to the war-like situation in the Middle East, the organizers might have to relocate the event to a different country. It began after Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei died in a joint missile strike from the USA and Israel.

WWE Diva urges Tom Brady to fight in the ring

After Brady referred to WWE as “cute,” several well-known figures voiced their objections. Future Hall of Famer Randy Orton announced that he would love to use his finishing move on him if a chance presented itself.

WWE Diva Kiana James urged Brady to jump into the ring and prove to himself that he is worthy enough to win a bout.

The best answer is to get him in the ring. Have him run the ropes and take a bump—and then let’s see what his answer is.

It’s not unusual to see someone from a different background step into the ring against a wrestler. A few years back, Bad Bunny’s victory over Damien Priest made waves across the country.
