This week’s SmackDown was a packed show. It featured an anticipated match between Tiffany Stratton and Michin. However, the most chaotic moment didn’t come from the match but from the ringside. Bayley had the devil on her mind as she sneakingly destroyed the Money in the Bank briefcase belonging to the Buff Barbie.
The former NXT Women’s Champion looked dejected after witnessing the destruction of her briefcase. She posted a picture of the briefcase on her X account with some crying emojis. The Center of the Universe tried to fix the damage by using tape around the frame of the case. However, the beautiful white aesthetic of the case was gone, and it didn’t look pleasing at all.
The 24-year-old even suffered a major loss against Michin on SmackDown. She was distracted by Bayley, which led to the OC member sneaking away with a major upset. The night was terrible for Buff Barbie, as her ally Nia Jax was also sidelined during the battle. She has been trying to cash in her MITB expeditiously. The Buff Barbie had failed such an attempt during a live event.
Moreover, this wreckage of the briefcase opens up the possibility of Tiffany Stratton bringing a custom case for her contract. Besides, there is a heavy chance of the former NXT Women’s Champion cashing in her contract in a matter of a few weeks. She even teased this last week on SmackDown, which led to the Irresistible Force getting a little confused over her antics.
WWE Veteran predicts the Money in the Bank cash-in date of Tiffany Stratton
Tiffany Stratton has been on a roll lately. She won the MITB contract in Canada last week. She turned over the tides for herself. WWE has been giving her a strong booking lately, which solidifies her place on the main roster. Recently, WWE veteran Tommy Dreamer predicted the cash-in date of the Buff Barbie up ahead.
Speaking on the Busted Open Radio, Dreamer said that he feels WWE might also go on a long-term plan for Stratton’s contract. He added that Bayley is a strong champion, but she can be vulnerable at some point in her feud with Nia Jax. Therefore, to him, SummerSlam looks like the perfect spot for an excellent cash-in.
I know Nia Jax is going to hurt Bayley. So I know the champ will be vulnerable, but also Bayley is an a** kicker. Bayley is Bayley for a reason. That being said, WWE made the same move last year as well, when Iyo Sky cashed in her MITB contract on Bianca Belair. Although the chances are low for Buff Barbie to make such a predictable move, however, it will be interesting to see how things will pan out for the Center of the Universe.
