Tiffany Stratton and Trish Stratus spotted training [via- WWE]
Since the dawn of the year, Tiffany Stratton has been embroiled in a rivalry with her former friends, Nia Jax and Candice LeRae. Due to the numbers disadvantage, Stratton has failed to put away the duo. A few weeks back, an unlikely partner in Trish Stratus returned to help Stratton in her fight. Stratus and Stratton will be teaming up to face Jax and LeRae at the Elimination Chamber.
Days away from the event, Stratton took to her Instagram account to showcase their preparations for the bout. The WWE Hall of Famer and the Women’s Champion could be seen enjoying a yoga session in the Performance Center. Despite never partnering up ever before, the pair has clicked instantly and will look to defeat the formidable team of Jax and LeRae.
While this bout serves as a homecoming for Stratus, Stratton would be hoping to put behind this rivalry once and for all. The 25-year-old star had formed an alliance with Jax during the summer of 2024. However, the dynamic shifted after Stratton won the Money in the Bank briefcase and Jax became Women’s Champion.
As a result, Jax constantly bullied Stratton, who contemplated cashing in several times. Following months of teases, Stratton finally pulled the trigger on the first SmackDown episode of the year. The Center of the Universe dethroned The Irresistible Force to capture her first women’s title on the main roster. Needless to say, it will be interesting to see if Trish Stratus and Tiffany Stratton overcome the odds on Saturday’s PLE.
Tiffany Stratton needs to shift focus to Charlotte Flair problem at WrestleMania
It hasn’t been the best of months for Tiffany Stratton so far. Not only has she suffered constant beatdowns at the hands of Nia Jax, but she has also been embarrassed quite a few times by Charlotte Flair. The latter, who won the Women’s Royal Rumble match, chose to face Stratton at WrestleMania.
The Queen has not taken Stratton seriously in the buildup. Boasting a Hall of Fame-worthy resume, Flair believes Stratton is not on her level and plans to humiliate her in Las Vegas. For two weeks in a row, Flair has stood tall over the Women’s Champion.
Despite only being on the main roster for a year, Stratton has shown she can hang with the best. The Buff Barbie has gained victories over the likes of Bayley and Naomi. Therefore, only time will tell how she fares against the most prolific WWE women’s superstar at WrestleMania.
