Tiffany Stratton might’ve moved on from the infamous rivalry with Charlotte Flair that culminated in their WrestleMania match. However, the damage they did to each other during its build-up is still brought up in various interviews. Being a guest on Logan Paul‘s IMPAULSIVE podcast, Stratton was asked about going off script on Flair and even referencing the latter’s real-life divorce to crank it up.

‘The Buff Barbie’ declared Ric Flair‘s daughter a legend and a highly competitive woman. Stratton said she also fell in that category, and she wanted to prove to everyone that she could hang in there with the best. When Paul asked if she felt she was in the wrong for bringing up Flair’s personal life elements into a scripted feud, Stratton responded by saying it’s a mix of a yes and a no.

We both went off script. I did have to apologize. I think what I did was justified, but maybe I shouldn’t have gone that far. But I do feel like I was justified in what I did.

The rising superstar did admit that she might’ve gone a little too far with the divorce jab. However, ‘The Center of the Universe’ also mentioned that she was justified in her actions. Prior to this heated exchange between the two women on SmackDown, Stratton was lagging behind in the feud.

‘The Queen’ had completely steamrolled the erstwhile US gymnast during a split-screen interview. It sparked allegations of Flair seemingly trying to bury the younger talent. The general notion at the time among the fans was that Stratton needed to retort with something substantial to go neck and neck with the fourteen-time women’s champion.

They had a massive pull-apart brawl just in the nick of time for WrestleMania. Flair, in it, was just ruthless. She had to be tamed down by Wade Barrett, who was worried about her actions leading to her firing from WWE.

What did Ric Flair say about Charlotte Flair’s marital status being mocked by Tiffany Stratton?

As much as Charlotte Flair was affected by that notorious promo battle with Tiffany Stratton, her legendary father, Ric Flair, was even more indignant over it. ‘The Nature Boy’ recently made an appearance on Ariel Helwani‘s show. The renowned combat sports journalist inquired of the 16-time world champion about his daughter’s feud with Stratton.

‘The Space Mountain’ had a lot to get off his chest. Flair said that the swipe Stratton took at his daughter regarding her divorce from Andrade was the cheapest shot he’d ever heard. ‘The Buff Barbie’ also aimed a dig at the three failed marriages ‘The Queen’ has had, citing it as a 0-3 record. After that, the veteran wrestler wondered if that’s why Stratton’s boyfriend, Ludwig Kaiser, was rolling into her DMs.

In a snippet from the WWE: Unreal series, one could see Triple H sitting in the gorilla position and uttering that Stratton needed to go apologize to Flair for referencing her divorce in such an unsolicited manner. Also, these women hugged it out following their WrestleMania encounter that saw Stratton pip Flair under the bright lights of Las Vegas.

Tiffany Stratton emerged victorious at SummerSlam 2025

It’s been eight months since Tiffany Stratton successfully cashed in her Money in the Bank contract to become the WWE women’s champion. Although she has come agonizingly close to losing the title on several occasions, the 26-year-old has found a way out every single time until now.

The Buff Barbie’s latest coup came at SummerSlam last weekend when she ousted Jade Cargill in the shortest match on the two-night PLE card, excluding Seth Rollins‘ cash-in over CM Punk. It’d be interesting to see what’s next for Stratton with Clash in Paris scheduled for August 31.

WWE might continue feeding Cargill to the Minnesota-born grappler for the time being. ‘The Center of the Universe’ has quietly forged a lengthy title reign that began in January, and she’s still going strong. Stratton has yet to meet her match in the ring.
