There was a tiger sighting on a golf course on Wednesday. 15-time major champion Tiger Woods was spotted at a golf course in Florida following his major Achilles injury earlier this year, which led to him undergoing surgery.

The 49-year-old golfer tore his Achilles tendon while he got ready for the Masters Tournament. This saw him miss the major championship and forced him to catch the action from the sidelines.

Woods was seen in a cart cheering for his son, Charlie Woods, who participated in the 108th Florida Amateur Championship. The young Woods has been making waves across the junior golf circuit and recently claimed his 1st American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) title.

In the pictures shared by the X account TWLEGION, the former World No.1 was spotted wearing a light blue Sun Day Red T-shirt and paired it with matching pants, sunglasses, and a white cap. He was seen sitting in a golf cart and watching on.

The interesting part of this was that he was not wearing a protective boot. This could signal that his recovery is going well.

Woods has so far not made a single start in the 2025 season. He was supposed to make his debut at the Genesis Invitational, but would withdraw from the event a few days before due to the passing of his mother, Kultida Woods. Given the timeline required to recover from an Achilles tendon tear, the chances of him making even a single appearance on the tour this year are low.

While Woods did not participate in the event, as the tournament host, he made an appearance on the final day. He was seen entering the course alongside Vanessa’s daughter, Kai Trump.
