Novak Djokovic has had a poor 2024 and will be looking for a change of fortunes at the French Open. Even though he lost in yet another semi-final at the Geneva Open, the Serbian is a favorite for the Clay Slam and will be looking to get back in form.

Even Eurosport expert Tim Henman believes that Djokovic’s luck will turn around in Paris and describes it as the “classic case of form is temporary and class is permanent”. Furthermore, Henman advises Djokovic to forget about his last few months and concentrate on the first round.

On the other hand, the tennis pundits are worried about Djokovic’s mindset for Roland Garros, as he lost in his last two tournaments earlier than he would have liked. However, the Serbian revealed that he knows the competition in Grand Slams and what to do to survive.

I know exactly what I need to do in a Grand Slam environment or Grand Slam competition, so to say. It's a whole different type of tournament and feel for the tournament than any other, really, tournaments that we have in the calendar.
Novak Djokovic told the Roland Garros press

This time, Djokovic has a lot depending on his run at the Slam. Not only is his title at stake but also his position as World No.1. With only a handful of points to defend, Djokovic is forced to finish in the finals or will lose his spot as the No. 1 men’s player on the tour.
