I was a little surprised from Andy’s point of view. Having only just retired in August that he’s going to be back on tour. It will be interesting to see how long that partnership lasts for. I’m guessing it’s just the off-season and then the Australian Open. Then we will see how it really goes from there.

Tim Henman said on Sky Sports Tennis

Murray and Djokovic have shared one of tennis’s greatest rivalries. They are among the few players to have faced each other in Grand Slam finals across all four major tournaments.

I think from Djokovic’s point of view, it is probably a smart move. Andy knows all the opponents that Djokovic is going to be up against. Andy has always been a great tactician and has always been very good strategically. So, it’s another interesting element to watch out for.

Tim Henman added

Now, the two will be working together toward a common goal. While Murray’s role is expected to be short-term, it could extend depending on Djokovic’s results at the Rod Laver Arena.
