He added that the Indian pacer manages to keep up his performance at the same level in all formats of the game. He adde that Bumrah gained more knowledge and came back with more energy after spending time out of the game with his injury.

To be able to firstly bounce back from the major injury and come back, he’s even better than what he was beforehand. Throw in on top of that, having to juggle multiple formats, can be difficult at times as well. He seems to have been able to do that with ease as well. He’s probably more experienced and understands his game a bit more.

Bumrah’s economy rate was 4.17 in the tournament, which is also the best for anyone who has bowled 100-plus balls in a single edition of the men’s T20 World Cup. The paceman was equally sensational in the home Test series against England as he provided crucial breakthroughs in on pitches which had no help for the fast bowlers. Bumrah has been given a rest since the T20 World Cup in 2024 to manage his workload.
