Timo Werner wants to stay at Chelsea and fight for a place in the team

German striker Timo Werner is ready to commit his future at London and wants to stay at Chelsea. Earlier rumours were flying that Werner was outbound after failing to hit the ground running at Stamford Bridge.
However Timo Werner wants to stay at give it his all. He has shown his class occasionally but has never managed to give consistent results.
Thomas Tuchel remains confident about Timo Werner’s abilities
It’s no secret that Timo Werner has found life at England difficult. So far the striker has managed to notch up 10 goals in his 39 appearances for the London Blue’s. This is far from his prolific goal scoring touch in Germany. However in total he has recorded 17 Goals +Assists for Chelsea this season from open play. This is more than any other player. He’s not had a horrid season but definitely been below average.
There have been rumours about Romelu Lukaku destined for a move to Chelsea if they fail in the pursuit of Erling Braut Haaland. Lukaku is currently at Inter Milan and there’s an interest from Marina Granovskia. Timo Werner believes he can turn the tables around. Manager Thomas Tuchel as well is confident that Werner will succeed after the initial hiccups.
