The New York Knicks have been playing the Indiana Pacers in the ECF Finals this season, and have not been up to the mark lately. Going into Game 5, the Knicks were 3-1 down in the series against the Pacers but made it a point to bounce back at MSG. They did exactly that, winning 111-94 in Game 5 of this series. Notably, top celebrities Timothee Chalamet, Ben Stiller, and Spike Lee were also in attendance for this game.

It’s safe to say that they made a few headlines of their own during the game. In a viral video making rounds on the internet, all 3 celebrities could be spotted going through waves of emotions during the particular play when the referee missed the call for a ‘travel.’ Chalamet, Stiller, and Lee made the ‘travel’ sign in sync, with the moment being caught on the cameras:

Interestingly, all 3 celebrities have been regularly attending the Knicks’ home and away matches during the playoffs this season, showcasing their support for their favorite side. They were also trolled heavily by Pacers fan and ESPN analyst Pat McAfee during Game 4 of this series. However, this time around, they had the last laugh on McAfee and the Pacers on home court.

As for the game, NBA greats Shaquille O’Neal and the late Kobe Bryant‘s record was equaled in the triumph by Knicks stars Karl-Anthony Towns and his teammate Jalen Brunson. The two were New York’s highest scorers with 24 and 32 points, respectively. Towns possesses the strength, stature, and skill to control games, even though he doesn’t always show it.

Moreover, the Knicks team benefited from Tyrese Haliburton‘s awful performance in Game 5, even though none of the Pacers players were very well on Thursday. Now going into Game 6, it will be interesting to watch how the two teams perform.

Ben Stiller opened up on ‘weird’ Pat McAfee Game 4 comments

Along with fellow Knicks attendants Timothee Chalamet and Spike Lee, Ben Stiller, 59, was one of the celebrities sitting near the court in Game 4 of the Knicks-Pacers Eastern Conference Finals on Tuesday, May 27, in Indianapolis, supporting the Knicks. Notably, Pat McAfee told the 3 celebrities to ‘take their a**es home’ in front of the whole arena.

These remarks made by McAfee did not sit well with Stiller. He made sure to talk about this after the game on social media. Stiller said that he found these remarks ‘weird’ coming from a well-known analyst like McAfee.

Yes. Weird. We were happy to be there and cheer our team and other than that Indy fans were awesome.

Ben Stiller posted

Fans were reassured by the Night at the Museum star that he had no resentment toward McAfee’s comment or the Pacers’ defeat. Now, the Knicks gave Stiller a moment to cherish by winning Game 5, taking the series to 3-2, needing just one win to level it. However, Game 6 won’t be easy as the Pacers will look to put an end to the Knicks, as they need just one win to qualify for the NBA Finals.

Ben Stiller shared his views on ‘bonding’ with another Knicks fan, Timothee Chalamet

In the Knicks-Pacers series, Hollywood’s past and present have been clashing as movie fans celebrated the sight of Timothee Chalamet and Ben Stiller sitting courtside together. In addition, the latter also opened up about his bonding with Chalamet over the season. Stiller claimed that Chalamet is a ‘nice guy’ and ‘decided’ to attend the Detroit Pistons series together.

We met each other over the years a few times and I’m a fan of his, he’s a great actor, always seemed like a nice guy. Saw him at some Knicks games and then we were at the Detroit series and were both looking to go to Detroit, so we decided to go together and got to know each other.

Now, Stiller and Chalamet, along with another Knicks fan, Spike Lee, are usually spotted attending the Knicks’ recent matches together. These moments are to be cherished, and the Hollywood celebs are doing just that.
