Avid NBA fan Timothee Chalamet has been dropping presences of his affinity for the sport for quite some time now. Recently, the actor gave a shout-out to league’s legend Michael Jordan at an award speech. He was also present at the latest matchup between the LA Lakers and the Minnesota Timberwolves.

As customary, the NBA updated their X followers about Timothee Chalamet taking a seat at the Lakers vs. Timberwolves Thursday night, accompanied by Stephane Bak. For the occasion, the Wonka actor dressed casually in oversized black pants and a black t-shirt with a strip detailing.

Chalamet played safe with a black leather jacket over top. After making waves within the football world, the Oscar nominee has been going viral among the NBA fans.

In a recent award acceptance speech at The Screen Actors Guild, Chalamet expressed his pursuit for greatness. Speaking of his idols, he gave a special mention to NBA great Michael Jordan who was present at the ceremony. While he hoped for his first Oscar, the actor got a glimpse of victory from the Lakers who called the 111-102 win.

Notably, he wasn’t the only one at the stadium to witness it. Actor Ben Affleck was also spotted sharing bonding time with son Samuel. Singer Benson Boone also hit the turf in Lakers jersey to add to that. Both the teams will next be playing on Friday night.

Nonetheless, hosts Ryan Sampson and Nicole Ryan endorsed it later. The NBA analyst Ernie Johnson also heard the clip and shared in an interview that he found it equally appalling at first. However, he thought Chalamet could crack it in minutes.
