Amid the buzz and constant media attention, fans forget that the players they follow are also people. The line where a sport ends and a person begins is often blurred by stalking, cyberbullying, and much more. Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis is the latest victim of this inappropriate behavior.
There might be times when things don’t go the way that a person wishes it for. The Titans are not having the best of time, neither is Levis. They lost to the Chicago Bears in the first game after the latter pummeled the Titans with 24 unanswered points. In Week 2, the New York Jets took home their first win of the season.
Levis took the surrender cobra posture on the field after throwing a pick-six to Tyrique Stevenson in Week 1’s 24-17 loss to the Chicago Bears. Levis outperformed himself in Week 2 by attempting a shovel ball to Tyjae Spears on third-and-goal, which was recovered by Jets defender Quincy Williams. The Titans were up 7-0 at the time and had a chance to increase their lead to 10 with a field goal.
This play against the Jets forced the HC Brian Callahan to visibly swear at the quarterback, adding more woes on Will Levis. To say the least, the fans were equally angry, which they took out horribly.
The thing I’m actually doing today is getting a new phone number. I don’t know how my number got out there with the fans, but I got a lot of texts. That’ll be nice to shut that part and put it behind me.Will Levis said to reporters on Thursday

Understandably, the fans are angry, and they want to vent it out. However, leaking and messaging a player on his number is awful. As a player, he would need his space – a world away from the media and the criticism to mentally be better. Cyberbullying and sending hateful texts are not gonna help the Titans win games.
Tennessee Titans QB Will Levis is in dire need of a victory
The Titans’ QB has a very rocky and tough time. The prank call from the NFL Draft has followed him to a leaked phone number and incessant texting. Then there’s the ex-girlfriend who is posting cryptic karma posts. Last but not least, there are the turnovers that keep on costing him games.
The Titans are playing the Green Bay Packers next week. The Packers aren’t going to be an easy opponent despite the possible absence of Jordan Love. Malik Willis, who was traded by the Titans earlier returns to the field facing Levis. There are flaws in both sides, however, the Titans’ defense game is strong to a line.
They are currently leading the chart for the fewest passing yards per game with an average of 114.0. In terms of passing yards per attempt, the Titans are second. If Will Levis decides to polish his game and make some good plays like the sensational pass to Calvin Ridley, the Titans have a chance to avoid 0-3.
