Bianca Belair cruised through the Queen of the Ring tournament by defeating the likes of Tiffany Stratton and Mia Yim. However, her knee was testing her strength throughout the tournament, and she couldn’t handle it anymore as Nia Jax defeated her and progressed to the final. After losing the match, Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae visited her solely to mock her.

Thankfully, her tag team partner, Jade Cargill, stepped up and scared both of them away. She told Bianca Belair that she would talk to the SmackDown GM, Nick Aldis, about this situation. Well, it looks like the British manager listened to their complaint and set up the tag team match between the pairs. It will indeed be for the tag team titles on the King and Queen of the Ring PLE pre-show in Saudi Arabia.

Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae have been behaving differently for the last few weeks. The Poison Pixie, who always had a smile on her face, started to use conniving tactics to win her matches. She even berated Maxinne Dupri, stating that she didn’t belong here. At first, Indi was reluctant to join her, but soon she embraced the villainous side by helping Candice win matches through questionable means.

Meanwhile, Big Jade and The EST of WWE defeated former Women’s Tag Team Champions Kairi Sane and Asuka at Backlash. This will be their first title defense since winning the gold, as they both participated in the Queen of the Ring tournament.

Bianca Belair received an apology from former rival Bayley

Although the EST of WWE and Bayley share history, they got on the same page to fight a common enemy, Damage CTRL. When The Role Model was a part of the notorious group, she made Belair’s life difficult, helping Iyo Sky snatch her world title at SummerSlam 2023. Recently, she expressed her opinion about her relationship with Belair.

While speaking on WWE’s The Bump, Bayley stated that she just wanted Belair to understand her side. The 35-year-old star admitted that the former Women’s Champion would never understand what she had to do. She further added that, until Belair wrestles for more years, she won’t get it. The Role Model defeated Iyo Sky and won the WWE Women’s title at WrestleMania XL.

On the latest episode of SmackDown, she defeated Chelsea Green after the two engaged in a heated verbal spat last week. The Role Model is not scheduled to defend her title at the King and Queen of the Ring PLE. However, Nia Jax could become her next challenger if she manages to defeat Lyra Valkyria in the final.
