Tobias Harris extends 76ers lead on top in EC, knocking double-double win victory over Kings

Tobias Harris

With Brooklyn Nets dropping their last game, the Philadelphia 76ers had their chance to extend their lead on top of the Eastern Conference. With the same mindset, came Tobias Harris who bashed game-high 29 points, with 11 rebounds to lead 76ers to victory in the absence of Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons. Time and again Tobias Harris has been proving his calibre, this season having being always displayed as the most reliant supporting player.

However, it was not only Harris, but also Shake Milton who was impressive with his 28 points for the 76ers. Danny Green too scored 18 points, including 4 from downtown. With this victory 76ers have now won 19 of their 23 games at home in the 2020-21 season.

Talking about the Sacramento Kings, they were led by buddy Hield who scored 25 points. Whereas Holmes, Haliburton and Barnes had 10, 11 and 12 points respectively. De’Aaron Fox registered 16 points against his name. The major difference in the game was brought in the very first quarter after which the 76ers led by 21 points.

Having to catch up on a lot of points-gap, the Kings trailed by as many as 26 entering the last quarter. Which honestly, always seemed more than enough. Having said that, the 76ers with this win have won 7 out of their 8 games. Wherein their only loss came to Milwaukee Bucks. Next up for them is Julius Randle’s New York Knicks.

Whereas for the Kings, after beating Washington Wizards and Boston Celtics, they were unable to replicate the same form against Philadelphia 76ers. They would be facing the Cleveland Cavaliers next.
