Tom Brady is making his way back to the world of football, but this time not as the legendary quarterback he was but as a debuting lead analyst for Fox Sports. When he retired from the NFL at the beginning of 2023, he decided to take some time off and spend it with his family and other endeavors. However, it was given that the GOAT wouldn’t leave the NFL at this note.
When the deal with Fox Sports finally saw the light of the day, it appeared rather foreseen than surprising. And so believes Brady as he opened up about the jump from playing NFL to calling NFL– during a conversation with Jimmy Traina for Sports Illustrated.
I love being a part of the best broadcast in sports. So I think for me it was a no-brainer and if you want to have an impact on people and you want to impact a sport you love then you’ve got to work toward that.Tom Brady said
Moreover, Brady shared that his time off the football has been quite good as it gave him time to unwind himself from playing football and also, talk to the people who have transitioned to broadcasting before him to prepare himself.
I think the analysis of what I’m actually seeing will be relatively straightforward for me. It’s kinda what I’ve done every day.Tom Brady added
