“One of the best decisions you ever made”- Tom Brady speaks up about his conversation with Joe Burrow earlier this season
Tom Brady’s future was uncertain since the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were knocked by the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Divisional Round and now he has confirmed his retirement through his social media accounts and he leaves this game as the Greatest of All Time.
The person who is now being touted as the next Brady by various people is Joe Burrow who has led the Cincinnati Bengals to their first Super Bowl in 33 years in just his second league in the season after being drafted by the Bengals last season from LSU.
Tom Brady in his weekly podcast with Jim Gray talked about many things and revealed that he talked to Joe Burrow earlier this season and said to him, “One of the great decisions you ever made was leaving Ohio State to get out of that godforsaken place and go to LSU.”
“Thank god, That was one of the best decisions you ever made, Joe.”- Tom Brady
Tom Brady on the podcast told that he spoke to Joe Burrow earlier this season and told on the podcast about his experience with Ohio and said, “As a Michigan man, I could tell how smart he was when he did that. Thank god. That was one of the best decisions you ever made, Joe.”
Joe Burrow replied to Tom Brady’s statement and said, “I think it was too, But maybe for different reasons than you might have.”
If Joe Burrow is able to achieve the unthinkable and win the Super Bowl this year he would become the first player in the history of the NFL to win the Heismann Trophy, National Title in College, and win the Super Bowl.
Joe Burrow had won the National Trophy during his time at LSU where he played with his current Bengals teammate and WR JaMarr Chase where they both showed the world what they were capable of and have proven that during their time in the NFL together this season as they prepare to face the Los Angeles Rams in the Super Bowl at the SoFi Stadium.
