With one Instagram post, Tom Brady silenced his naysayers who were unhappy about his Super Bowl LX stance. The New England Patriots legend backed his former team to win the seventh ring.

Over the last five to six days, Brady had been under immense pressure for not picking the Patriots as his favorite to win the Super Bowl during a routine appearance on FOX Sports. Several Patriots athletes, present and past, expressed discontent with the 48-year-old over his neutral stance.

Barstool Sports creator and avid Patriots fan Dave Portnoy announced that Brady “doesn’t give a (expletive) about us anymore.” Brady’s silence had put weight behind Portnoy’s theory. Amidst the rising tensions, TB12 made a move that no one saw coming. He unfollowed the Patriots’ official Instagram account.

Hours later, fans noticed a series of photos on Brady’s Instagram Story. He attended Fanatics founder Michael Rubin‘s Super Bowl spectacle. He wasn’t the only Patriot at the party. The head honcho himself, Robert Kraft, was in attendance as well.

Someone clicked a candid photo of the pair enjoying themselves. Brady uploaded it with a caption. “You know I got your back, RKK. Get the 7th ring.”

That should put an end to the doubts that Brady no longer supports the team where he won six rings, and that’s the reason Kraft erected a statue in his honor outside Gillette Stadium.

What did Tom Brady say after Robert Kraft and Bill Belichick were snubbed from the Hall of Fame?

On Thursday, February 5, the NFL released the names of the 2025-26 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductees. Two names that didn’t get in are Kraft and former New England head coach Bill Belichick.

This was unprecedented. The pair together has won more rings than any other owner and coaching duo in the long history of the NFL, and yet they were snubbed. Naturally, it caused a ruckus. From Stephen A. Smith to President Donald Trump, everyone demanded an explanation for the exclusion.

Speaking on the Seattle Sports Radio Show, Brady claimed that he “doesn’t understand” the mindset of the voters.

If he’s not a first-ballot Hall of Famer, there’s really no coach that should ever be a first-ballot Hall of Famer. Which is completely ridiculous, because people deserve it. He’s incredible.

Brady said

According to one of the voters, the infamous “Spygate” scandal played a big part in the voting. If that one incident didn’t exist that Belichick’s CV warrants a first ballot ticket to Canton.

You may as well go try for the Oscars or whatever and get a big panel to tell you if you’re good or not. It’s the way it works, unfortunately.

Brady joked

Regardless, the Patriots stand a chance to add another ring to their collection. On Sunday, Feb 8, the Boston club is set to take on NFC champions, the Seattle Seahawks at Levi’s Stadium in San Francisco, California.
