These days, when someone needs to spread a message, they just need to drop by a podcast. Even though Tom Brady has his own, he chose the DeepCut Podcast to hint that he might be interested in a comeback.

Brady played for two teams and spent 23 seasons in the NFL. He won six Super Bowls with the New England Patriots and one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Shortly after winning his seventh ring, the 46-year-old announced his retirement.

However, it appeared he had some unfinished business, made a U-turn, and returned to the gridiron for one more season. Brady will eventually hang up his boots for the second time on February 1, 2023.

After the announcement, his father, Tom Brady Senior, told ESPN’s Mike Greenberg per CBS Sports that his son had enough of getting hit. It’s natural to think like that because he was half past 40, and even though the NFL is slowly becoming a quarterback-friendly league, there is always the chance of seriously injuring himself.

Yet he remains keen to make a comeback for the third time amidst the right conditions.

I'm not opposed to it. I'm always going to be in good shape, [and] I will always be able to throw the ball.
Tom Brady said while getting a haircut at the same time

The NFL fans need to hold their horses for a moment. He can’t just decide and make a comeback. People will be delighted, but he is close to becoming part owner of the Las Vegas Raiders

I don't know if they are going to let me return [as a player] if I become the owner of an NFL team.
Continuing further, he added

A Michael Jordan-esque comeback for Tom Brady?

It wouldn’t be wrong to say that Brady was the Michael Jordan of the football world. He did surpass the NBA Hall of Famer on trophy count (6 NBA Championships). If he truly wants to follow the same path as the Chicago Bulls legend, then perhaps putting on the cleats is the order of the hour.

So, to come in for a little bit, like MJ [Michael Jordan] coming back, I don't know if they would let me, but I wouldn't be opposed to it.

Following his 14-year stay in Chicago, Jordan took a three-year break and made a surprise comeback, signing with the Washington Wizards and playing for two years. It’s quite coincidental. The Washington Commanders are looking for a starting quarterback. Does Dan Quinn believe in deja vu?

Anyway, this wasn’t the only time Brady dropped a hint about resuming his football career. On his 46th birthday, he wrote a post on Instagram saying that a team approached him to be their quarterback, which later turned out to be the San Francisco 49ers.
