For Victor Wembanyama, his rookie season in the NBA could not have finished better. The San Antonio Spurs phenom has been unanimously voted as the Rookie of the Year of the NBA. An accomplishment which many of the greats have to their names on their way to creating a legacy. LeBron James and Tom Brady, two of the greatest in their fields joined hands to congratulate the Frenchman.

Fanatics decided to make the day special for Victor Wembanyama by bringing him into a studio showcasing all the greats of the game who won the rookie of the year. A full video of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James was shown.

The San Antonio Spurs rookie was not always ahead in the Rookie of the Year voting. Initially, it was Chet Holmgren who was ahead in the race. Eventually, by improving his game and becoming physically stronger, the rookie pulled ahead to receive unanimous votes to win the award.

Other superstars also shared video messages. Kevin Durant, Chris Paul, Shaquille O’Neal and others have won Rookie of the Year awards and dominated the league later on. It goes to show the appreciation current and former greats have for a player who has a bright future ahead.
