Tom Brady is living life post-retirement and for fans who thought they had his personality figured out, he continues to surprise daily by showcasing his rather bold sense of humor. In his 23-year decorated career, the only black mark that lies against his legacy is his alleged involvement in the Deflategate scandal.
The quarterback was accused of having deliberately deflated game balls ahead of the Patriots’ win over the Indianapolis Colts in the 2014 AFC Championship. While it was a serious offense at the time and made fans question their loyalty to him, it has now become a humorous incident that the former NFL quarterback cites without any hesitation these days.
During his recent collaboration with trick shot masters Dude Perfect, Tom Brady and the guys got into a football throwing contest to compare their accuracies. At the start of the video, Tyler Toney gets handed a deflated football.

Then Brady enters the frame, takes the ball out of his hands, and says that is a perfect football.

He’s not beating the allegations with these comments.
Tom Brady has embraced the villain tag associated with his name in the Deflategate scandal
The seven-time Super Bowl Champion is over the negativity that came with the Deflategate scandal. Not only did it cost him the opportunity to play for four weeks but it cost the Patriots $1 million and two of their draft picks. It also earned Brady a spot on the list of the most hated athletes of all time. All of this is still merely a slap on their wrist considering the gravity of the situation but past is past.
The humor lies in the fact that Tom Brady did not have a memorable game against the Colts. New England relied heavily on the run game to beat their opponents as the team ended the night with 234 rushing yards on 46 carries and all 6 of their touchdowns came off the run. Brady ended his night with 198 yards and 0 turnovers.

This is not the first time that the veteran has joked about Deflategate. He brought up the incident at his Roast which aired on Netflix.
The NFL spent $20 million and found it was ‘more probable than not’ that I was ‘generally aware’ that someone may have deflated my footballs. You could have just given me the $20 million and I would just told you I f***ing did it!
Brady said.
He revealed on the stage to which the entire stadium burst out in laughter. Fortunately for him, his legacy is bigger than that one incident, and at this point, fans are past it.
