Several of the new batch of rookies got the chance to meet and greet seven-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady. Fanatics owner Michael Rubin invited the lot to breakfast along with 24-time Grammy-winning rapper Jay Z.

Among the new faces to enter the NFL through the draft last month were Caleb Williams from the Chicago Bears, Malik Nabers from the New York Giants, Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels, and New England Patriots QB Drake Maye, who was picked third overall.

It was a special moment for the newbies. One doesn’t get to meet two massive names at the same time under the same roof of coffee. Brady took the opportunity to reiterate his statement from earlier this year, which sparked controversy.

When you have 53 guys on the team, you think it's about you. It's not about you; it's about us. And the biggest problem that I see with the lot of the young players today [is that] you guys are making it too much about I and me on social media.

That aside, it was a special day for Drake Maye in particular. The Patriots selected him as their potential franchise quarterback, and he got to meet the man who occupied that spot for 20 years of his NFL career.

Tom Brady took a photo with Maye, which went viral immediately, prompting the 46-year-old to say, “Just two guys having brunch. Calm down, everyone.

Tom Brady revealed he became the winner because of the support he had

Brady touched upon his journey by continuing the theme that NFL franchises are not a one-man show but a collective effort of players and coaches. The 15-time Pro Bowler disclosed that he would not be sitting with them if he wasn’t a winner.

I would never be in the place I am today without the incredible people and mentors that came into my life at the right time and in the right place.

He wanted the rookies to do the same and continue the cycle.

We should always use our experiences to help others and 'pay it forward' to see the next generation grow as well.

Surprisingly, J.J. McCarthy wasn’t invited to the event. Yet Brady managed to catch up with him at another event. They have a special connection, both being Michigan graduates.

Brady may get the chance to call some of their games later this year as the lead FOX Sports analyst. He will kick off his broadcasting career when the Cleveland Browns face the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1.
