The company utilizes CRISPR gene-editing technology to integrate DNA from extinct species into the genomes of their closest living relatives. Among its projects, the woolly mammoth revival is the most advanced, with scientists modifying the DNA of Asian elephants, who share 99.6% of their genetic material with mammoths, to bring the species back to life.
