There will be no Thanksgiving dinner with the family for Tom Brady. Even in his retirement, the 46-year-old has to suit up and show up for work. FOX calls.
On Sunday, Brady was at Lambeau Field to cover the Green Bay Packers’ Week 12 fixture against the San Francisco 49ers. Before kickoff, he met with Christian McCaffrey and chatted with the coaches before taking his place inside the FOX booth to cover the game alongside Kevin Burkhardt.
The game ended with the 49ers capitulating under the Packers’ constant pressure and are currently 5-6 after eleven games while the Packers are 8-3. During FOX’s ‘The OT’ post-game show, host Curt Menefee dropped some big news on Tom Brady.
Hey Tom [Brady], [Michael] Strahan’s first year, he learned that he actually had to work on Thanksgiving Day. He thought he had it off. Did they tell you that before you came? You have to work on Thanksgiving Day this year!

Brady pretended to be shocked by the sudden revelation and even suggested he and Strahan spend Thanksgiving together. Unfortunately, Brady will be at Arlington to cover the Cowboys-Giants game. Unless Strahan joins the former Patriots player in Dallas, they have to skip the roast turkey dinner.
Tom Brady picked his ‘Let’s Fuc*** Go!’ player of the week
Since debuting for FOX, Brady has run his own special segment on the network called the ‘Let’s Fuc*** Go’ player of the week. He picks the best player of the game, which covers.
This time the award went to the Packers’ superstar running back Josh Jacobs. The Pro Bowler scored a hat-trick of touchdowns against the 49ers along with 26 carries for 106 yards (4.1 yards per carry). Even though Jacobs’ yards per carry were nothing spectacular due to the one-yard walk-ins, his impact alone made him deserving of the award.

Jacobs signed with the Packers after leaving the Las Vegas Raiders in the offseason. After 11 games, he has 944 rushing yards (149.9 rushing yards per game) and seven touchdowns.
Tom Brady signed a 10-year, $375 million deal with the FOX Sports network in 2023 before hanging up his football cleats. He has faced criticism on occasion for being too casual while covering the games, but lately, that’s changed ever so slightly.
