The New York Jets fans were sick of playing Tom Brady’s New England Patriots twice for more than two decades. Even in retirement, he continues to haunt his onetime divisional rivals.
Brady was at the Gillette Stadium in Foxboro on Friday (August 8) to see the unveiling of his statue made in honor of his contributions during his tenure with the Patriots.
The 48-year-old took this opportunity to take a jab at the Jets.
This statue isn’t just for Pats fans. It will also give Jets fans something to throw their beers at as they leave the stadium every year… Probably in the second quarter. Maybe in the third.

Hey Cam! Welcome to the NFL, my man. You’re gonna grow in ways you couldn’t even imagine, and I’m gonna be watching, and I’m always pulling for you.

Ward was awestruck by the gesture. The Miami graduate replied,“That’s crazy for the greatest player of all time to send me a video like that.”
Ward had an incredible final year of college football with the Miami Hurricanes. He threw for 4,313 yards and 39 touchdowns against just seven interceptions on his way to becoming a Heisman finalist, which he lost to Colorado and now Jacksonville Jaguars WR/CB Travis Hunter.
Before they were legends, they were rookies.
