Owner Robert Kraft and the New England Patriots organization decided to commemorate Tom Brady’s incredible NFL career by erecting a statue in their former quarterback’s honor outside Gillette Stadium. Antonio Brown wasn’t invited.
So, Brown pulled the most Antonio Brown move ever. He chose to mock his former teammate.
Brown took a jab at Brady’s appearance for the occasion. Brady wore a black full-sleeved t-shirt, white pants, and shades to cover his eyes.
It’s no secret that Brown has a wild imagination. He compared Brady’s look to that of Jeffrey Dahmer, specifically actor Evan Peters’ portrayal of the infamous serial murderer in the critically acclaimed Netflix series Dahmer.

Everyone has heard the stories of tension between the two athletes. Brown once implied that he was with Brady’s ex-wife, Gisele Bundchen, around the time they were finalizing their separation.
Brady later forgave Brown for his antics, but it appears they haven’t patched up their relationship. How can he? Brown left the country and hasn’t set foot on US soil for nearly two months after the police have issued an arrest warrant.
The police are looking for Brown because he was caught shooting bullets from a firearm outside a Miami establishment. Even though Brown pled his innocence, he will be put on trial if he returns to the country.
Tom Brady became emotional after seeing his statue
Many players have careers worthy of the Hall of Fame, but only a few are honored with a statue from the team they played for. Typically, these tributes are unveiled after a player reaches a certain age, but the Patriots wasted no time in honoring Brady with a statue.

Seeing myself as a statue isn’t something I could’ve ever imagined growing up. When I was drafted, I just hoped to make the team. I never dreamed I’d be standing here two-and-a-half decades later, made of bronze and frozen in time. It actually feels pretty appropriate, given my 40-yard dash time.

Brady clocked a 5.28-second 10-yard time in 2000. Regardless of his speed, the Patriots drafted Brady 199th overall. He took over the starting quarterback role after Drew Bledsoe’s injury and didn’t look back.
The boy from San Francisco won six Super Bowls with the Patriots and tormented divisional rivals, the New York Jets, for more than two decades.
Brady left the Patriots after falling out with head coach Bill Belichick. He signed for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and lifted his seventh and final Lombardi Trophy.
Brady’s new innings
Brady walked away from football, but football stayed with him. He isn’t playing football anymore, but still discovered a way to stay part of his beloved sport.
Earlier this year, Tom Brady became a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. The process took longer to execute due to a conflict of interest because of his involvement with FOX Sports.
Brady played a big part in appointing retired 73-year-old Pete Carroll as the new head coach of the team and former Buccaneers assistant GM John Spytek as the new general manager.
The Raiders also signed veteran Geno Smith as quarterback and Chip Kelly as offensive coordinator.
Raiders played out a draw with the Seattle Seahawks in their first competitive game since the takeover. Up next, they will face the San Francisco 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals before facing the Patriots in week one of the 2025 season.
