Tom Cruise pulled off the dramatic stunt at the Paris Olympics Closing Ceremony by toppling down off the Stade de France roof at the end. As soon as he landed, he was met with a mob of fans greeting him. Among them was a lady who went for a sneaky kiss with the actor.
As soon as Tom Cruise finished his stunt, he rappelled down to greet the fans as he made way to the stage. That was when the lady went for a peck on the cheek while recording on her phone. Meanwhile, Tom Cruise dodged and gave her a hug instead. The footage has since been going viral on the internet.
The closing ceremony marked the end of two and a half weeks of Olympic games that has now been penned down in history. The actor descended down from the top of the stadium to electric guitar “Mission Impossible” riffs playing in the background. He shook hands with various athletes and then took the flag from Simone Biles, fixed it to the back of his motorcycle and strode off.
The mission impossible actor is well known for his epic stunts in his ‘Mission Impossible’ movie franchise. He concluded the stunt at the Hollywood sign in LA symbolizing the passing on to the Olympics to the next host. With that, Los Angeles officially took over the Olympic Games as host for 2028.
Tom Cruise is off to Los Angeles
Currently, the Closing Ceremony at the Paris Olympics is all the buzz on the internet. Much of the credit goes to Tom Cruise for engineering and executing the epic stunt. Suffice to say, Cruise chose to accept the mission and completed it with all his might.
The Hollywood superstar then took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to express his gratitude to Paris. He further went on to update the fans with his departure to Los Angeles where the next Olympics will be held. In another post, Cruise retweeted an empowering message about him written by Paramount Pictures. One mission over and he was already looking forward to the next one.
The official handle of the LA Olympics took to X, stating that the end of one ceremony marked the beginning of another. Meanwhile, in Paris, the Olympic rings were lowered, marking the final moments of the Games.
